Kiddo, I can't tell you how much I love this. The fact that you focused on the bubbles and small pool, and not the pier, shows a really good eye. You have really got a talent for photography and I am so happy to see you progress.
If you have the opportunity to shoot a site like this again, try to wait until it is a little darker and try a longer exposure. The water will take on a completely different look. I am jealous that you had the opportunity to take pictures in San Diego.
